Can you put owl finches and zebra finches in the same cage?

Yes. As a general rule, you can keep finches from the same part of the world together. Its frequently best if they are introduced to their new home at about the same time, but not mandatory. They are both very sociable finches, and Owl Finches are especially gentle birds. I used to have a small flock of Owl Finches-my absolute favorite finch. They are difficult to breed, and they aren't very common in my area. I really do miss them.
