It depends on their maturity level and when they realize that physical dominance doesn't dictate the pecking order any more. I know of some that do continue ito their 20's if not older. I also know some that figure it out by 9th or 10th grade. It is a maturity step and you were right to attempt to teach your son how to control those impulses. The sooner they do the sooner they start using their heads to solve issues as opposed to violence or the threat of it. It is part of what boys do but it is also just another developmental step they need to work through with help at times.

We recently bought a 1970,s bungalow unmdified until now. We are experiencing condensation in the loft?

The condensation has frozen on the roof felt then thawed and droplets wet the loft and goods stored there. Prior to this their was only the old insulation, we have added new insulation and wondered if this will see the end of the problem. How do I start a garden?

Take a look at your soil, till or dig it up to about 2 ft deep of loose good garden soil, amend it if necessary adding lime, garden soil, fertilizer, and don't forget to give it a good bed of mulch which will work to protect the plants and keep them cool and damp during the hot weather. Could mars be made habitable if we moved more m to its surface from the asteroid belt?

If humans could devise a method for influencing asteroids to relocate, and aim them at Mars, we could "add" m to the planet, and/or make a large moon for a binary planet system. My idea is to influence the gravity well of the inner core of Mars to create heat, and cause a magnetosphere to form. With more of the suns rays being deflected, and more m to hold a larger atmosphere, I believe Mars will terraform itself as the dust settles, and become habitable. In my opinion since Mars does not have the same density of metal at its core as earth, the amount of m needed to create a weak Magnetosphere would be on the order of double to triple it's current size. The technology needed to move material from the asteroid belt, would not be achievable in the terms of propulsion. An asteroid the size of Texas would need a ship of comparable size with a specific gravity influence large enough to attract it and travel at a reasonable speed. The effect of relocating m to Mars, would also affect Earths orbit outward, and Mars' orbit inward towards the Sun. This is not a bad thing, as you might ume. As the Sun ages, it is getting brighter, and Earth hotter. Earth will need to expand it's orbit in the future to maintain it's current climate. Do you feel my idea holds weight, and can it be done?

I was in a car dealership when I was told that I need to put money down or needed a co-signer. I asked the salesperson I was dealing with to give me back my driver's license and my information. He gave me my driver's license and then I asked him for the information he threw it at me and told me to get the F out and said he will punch me in my face. He was one of the sales people now am I able to bring up civil action suit against him because of his behavior and for the auto dealership to allow this?? When I was younger (and still now to some extent) I was fascinated by Harry Potter lego. I own the majority of the 1st collection which was released in 2001 and 2002 and my collection is on-going. They include the Hogwarts, the forbidden corridor, Gringotts etc, everyone but the Hogwarts Express. Unfortunately, I only have the original box for the Hogwarts castle, however, I own all the original instructions and lego in excellent condition. I even have some from the next collection including Aragon in the forbidden forest, Dobby's release and the slytherine common room. My dog came down with eclampsia over the weekend so the vet told me how to bottle-feed her puppies. They've been doing fine so far but I'm just wondering, what's the minimum amount (in mL) of formula they should be drinking per feeding? I usually let them drink as much as they want or until they start fidgeting away from the nipple and try to snuggle in my clothes. There is this guy at my school that likes me. He is not my type and he has never spoken to me before but I hfound out from my friend that he was asking her for my number and asked her if I had a boyfriend. So, I'm presumably smart-IQ around 140-but I am dumbstruck when it comes to getting myself out of this rut . Was always suppose to do something big and wonderful with my life-instead have done many, many small and wondeful things-some off the wall-others genuinely cool. Instead of becoming a career woman or bestselling author or curer of cancer- I became a stay-home mom of three lovely children. Have always been plagued with bouts of depression, but always managed to get on top of it. I'm not getting on top of my depression and I'm feeling like I've wasted my potential. 50 is around the corner and a short skip down the block- though between back, hip, weight and depression problems I feel more like 60. Problems with my contacts...especially in the winter?

I have been wearing contacts for over 7 years now, and I've never had a problem like this before. I had conjunctivitis in Jan of '10 and ever since then my contacts haven't been the same, on and off. As soon as I put them in, I get excruciating headaches that last even when I take the contacts out. They feel sticky in my eyes and my eyes dry out very quickly. I hate wearing gles and I've seen multiple optometrists and one ophthalmologist, who told me my "eyes might just be changing and it might take 6+ months for them to accept contacts again." Is there nothing I can do? I was fine all through the summer; it seems to reappear in the winter. Any suggestions or comments??

The pattern is a little badly written. You're not starting row 2 in the middle of the pattern. You're using row two of the original pattern for the instructions. Then the row 1 refers to the first row of the waist shaping. So you have row 1 that you started with and then row one of the the waist shaping part. In reading back over this, I don't know if I've explained it any better than the pattern did, but I hope it makes sense!

I got hypnotized tonight at the fair and I have a few questions about it. I really don't remember anything about it, aside from volunteering and then waking up. Ok so I had a Dream of My parents and my lil bro Moving and I was gonna stay by myself living in my old apartment where I used to live...So I was saying good bye to them and I was getting off the car and then I see a black panther so I decided not to leave the car so I told my parents to drop me off like 2 blocks away farther from where I was...and in my dream I was like a block away from my old apartments so yeah then I was like 3 blocks away so me and my family decided to stop somewhere to eat and yeah i kept seeing black panthers when we would get off the car and then..and old neighbor of mines(back where I use to live in California in my apartments) was in the restaurant and she told us that these black panthers had broken loose ..so then we got it and after that we i didnt see the black panthers..so yeah my parents were gonna go drop me off again over close to my old apartments...where i dont live there no more but in my dreams i thought i did so i was really sad because in my dream i felt like i wasnt gonna see my family soon..so i felt like crying in my dream and my mom was next to me in the back seats and i just leaned on her shoulders and i started crying..im not really like this in real life but in my dream i felt like crying because i guess i wasnt gonna see them no more...oh and i forgot to mention in my dream i saw this enemy of mynes in the restaurant but that enemy of mynes is from where i currently live in nevada but in my dream i was in california where i used to live so it was weird seeing that dude..but yeah it was a weird dream ...but what got to me was the black panthers and my parents and brother moving somewhere and i was sad cause they were leaving...some one explain to me and thanks....oh and the first black panther i saw looked mad and it was bigger than the others....i was freaked out so like i said i told my parent to leave me 3 blocks away from there and i was thinking to walk home the other way but yeah in my dream like i said we decided to stop at the restaurant and then my parents finnally were about to drop me off home but when i started like almost crying on my moms shoulder i woke up...but i was like wtf when i woke up because i noticed how much i care abut my fams but yeah plz explain like i sed....thanks for reading

Why cant an alternator be used to power an electric car?

I'm converting a ford probe gt to an all electric vehicle. I plan a 72 volt system with 2 banks of 9 8volt deep cycle batteries. I'm looking at a range of approx 40miles per bank. So what I put on paper looks like this. I have a 24 volt alternator wired to each battery pack. The Alternators are wired to 24v starter batteries. When your main battery pack runs down you switch over to the second battery pack, throw a switch to turn on the alternator and start charging the pack. On a scaled down model I can charge 6 6v batteries with a standard 12 battery and alternator in under 10 minutes. If I get similar results with a 72volt system under actual driving conditions, I should be able to go at least 200 miles b4 the alternator batteries have to be recharged.

Why does a smoker start stopping to smoke after smoking for 50 years after they find out they got terminal lung cancer, such as emphysema? How come an alcoholic stops drinking after they kill somebody on the road while driving drunk? Why do i only get 200 miles to a tank with a 4 cylinder?

i have a 93 plymouth sundance with a 2.5 liter 4cylinder engine with a 4 speed auto . i've done the calculations and it showed that i'm only getting 14miles to the gallon. i have a 14 gallon tank, and i dont drive it rough at all but most of my travelings in the city. i have done a tune up and everything to try and find out why my gas mileage is so low. I've changed the o2 sensor the MAP sensor the plugs, wires, fuel and air filter and pcv valve within the past couple miles and still getting bad gas mileage. i've tried doing trouble codes with the engine light myself and nothing shows up. i would take it to a shop for the codes but they charge $40 for it because of the older computer. my tires are at 40psi so i don't think its a tire inflation problem i've been using fuel system cleaner but i havn't used any the past couple fill ups. i have about 80000 miles on my car. please help me i need to know whats causing this kind of mileage.
